I agree they are great cars. I'm with you man. Don't get the wrong impression. I am only saying that for the money there are better options. That's it. If you have the K&N then awesome. I am happy for you. You are already on your way to having a kickass ride. As far as any modifications to our cars, you have to be able to back it up with dyno and track numbers to prove it to the cynics like me. You also have to apply it to the RL and not a completely different vehicle. Porting, well I don't know enough about it to make any assumptions. I will agree that improving airflow will equal better performance. Like I said before, put it on a dyno. It is hard to argue with numbers. Not that it doesn't happen on here but at least you have them in black and white to support your claim. I don't want to piss anyone off or discourage them from buying an intake. All I am saying is if you want a noticeable gain right away, go with the stage kits first. JMO.

I dont disagree or agree with most of what has been said here in this thread but I like my intake and thats all there is to it. Saturn Ion Red Lines are great cars

I didnt want to start a new thread. On the AEM Dyno chart (on the website) their hp chart and gains seem realistic and consistant with other dyno charts i've seen for the LSJ, but on page 2 of the pdf, the torque chart looks odd, it's not the flat monster curve I'm used to seeing, and has a few dips in it, which seem to become smoothed by the installation of the SRI. anyone have any info or opinions on this?

I’m well satisfied with my stock but just got curious with the power of Saturn Cold Air Intake that my friends are talking about. So, I tried it and I went out really great. No regrets.
