Kill Stories: Stay or Go?

Do we want to keep this section? Does anyone find that it needs to go? Can you not live without it? Lets see...

I dont post in it simply cuz I dont need to trash talk about cars I beat. The only time I use it is when I get trouced by a car I didnt think I would or when I'm puzzled as to why I didnt beat a car by as much I as I thought (i.e. 03 Civic thread)

whatever the rest of the guys wants, im impartial

I don't normally read it but I don't see a need for it to go. Those that do read the threads know what to expect when they go there. Plus if you get rid of it then the kill stories would just get posted in other forums.

Arrow keep kills section

I think the kills section is hella cool. My friend is a part of a honda forum and I was showing him our forums and he said they didn't have a kills section on their forums and he thought it was an excellent idea. he is gonna introduce it onto their forums. Just my opinion.

I agree with max boost. If you remove the kills section they will just appear in other sections. I think everybody takes the kills section with a grain of salt anyways.

Funny thing is, alot of forums have gotten rid of them due to the people they attract. They last 10 people I've banned, have 99% of their posts in the kill stories section, and then branch out from there as they get bored trolling there...

I don't know if it is possible here or even something you'd liek to tackle but one of the GrandAm boards had a kill section but it was availble to everyone. If you wanted to have access to it you had to PM a mod and have them grant you access to it. Seems like a lot of work but it would allow those who like the kill stories to still have them and also keep trolls out.

I think that by removing the kills section, the site would become more professional looking. It would be more like other car forums. Coming from the B5 (VW passat) forum, they, specifically, do not want anyone to discuss any type of racing (other than sanctioned events). I think that this is one of the only forums that has a kills section. I could live without it, only if there was a list compiled, of all the cars this car is faster than (stock).

I can see both sides of the delema. I enjoy reading some of the posts and seeing where the redline stands against opponants but, I also want to keep some sort of professionalism(wheeew, that was a word) on the site. Anyway it wouldn't kill me to see it go but, I like it
