We've Got A New Sky!

Most of you know me here, so I'll check this board regulerly. We picked it up on Tues. All I can say is " It's Great ". We traded my wifes 03 EFX Ion for it. So it is officially her's. However; as you all know as in the past...I'll be the one maintaining it as well as modification's as they arrive. I've got to tell you though...I don't know what else I can do with it right now. I'ts breath taking right out of the box. We were at the dealership doing the paperwork and of course she and I were quit excited as to when the car would arrive.....any day we were told. At about 7:15 pm we were speaking with the new general manager, sales manager and of course "Scooter " when one of them look's out the window and say's " there it is"! The transport was pulling into the lot w/ her sky on the top. The whole place went nut's. They all know us and were all just as excited as we were. My wife screamed as she ran out the door. Ok; if you are married you all know what this is like. I think that was the fastest detail, service inspection and paperwork process that ever could have happened. We were on our way to dinner at 8:15.
The next day while "she" and i ( small i ) were driving around, we pulled into a Pontiac dealership to see a red Solstice parked out front. After looking it over we new we made the right choice. IMO the Sky look's so much better.
Now for my news; "My" Sky Red Line should arrive in the fall, in addition # 1 Son Nick ordered one as well. So I'll keep you posted.

get the intake for that bad bot.. you have to order it for a solstice but it fits the sky.. the thing makes a huge difference.. and it's a nice polished peice which really helps the engine bay stand out... take a look at one you wont be disapointed.. the sky is very nice looking and handles very well.. but it's very slow after having a redline for a DD.. the exhaust is 2.5" and is faily straight back so you shouldn't need to modfiy that.. just get an intake and mabey a smt6 to adjust your fuel and you'll see closer to 200.. chp that is

I drove it lastnight, and beside the spider that jumped outa the air vent and scared the shit outa me, i was fine. LMAO!!
The auto drives like a 5spd manual, and only when you get on it is when it has power kinda like the S/C Ion. but if your just trying to turn it has no power.so more foot in the turn. Smooth and quiet for a vert!! Didnt even know i had a vert to hahah.
exhaust sounds nice and deep. allmost compairable to wrx boxter engine. No rice here.
the side view mirrors are kinda weird, but there arent bad.

but uhhh an auto can't drive like a manual.... it's just not possible, especially a full auto like the sky has.... ?????

and you have a RL right? i've heard more complaints about the lack of speed than good things, you think it's almost as fast as the RL despite the lack of like 50 hp??? a bit confused there

well 1st off Im usualy not scared of spiders but in a confined area(Sky) im a virgin girl dressed in a prom dressin a fedearl state prison. And i couldnt kill it! so for all i know its still in there stalking my mom.
for the 5sp? i meant its crude like a 5spd. i cant explain it anyfurther youd just have to drive it. I didnt mean you can shift it like a 5spd just felt like one. I meant power felt good. but making a turn on a dead stop left or right you have to foot it to move out, wich it does move fine btw just after the turn.
Unlike slight throttle in the s/c ion it bucks out and squeels like a mofo.

I drive a redline yes with Intense stage III and some other goodies but I nvr said the sky was fster i just meant throttle responce was diffrent.
but after applebees i heard a blue redline whooped the skys ass?? thats just what i heard. lol nick! so that sums up the 50hp diffrence wich is more like 75ish. i heard it was a slaughter
