Redline for dummies

Well, as my wife impatiently waits for her SKY RL, everyone in her office is right along side her. Apparently, she gets bugged quite often about when she's getting it. Of course, she doesn't help matters at all. Last I was in there, she had 5 or 6 of the silver SKY magnets, a couple of the car mags that did articles on the SKY over the last few months, a calendar, a bunch of other little promo things from Saturn, and even a yellow (color she's ordering) Solstice die cast model (haven't found any SKY models yet, so this was close enough for now). So, her office friends are always asking her about it.

So today, I found this thread over at skyroadster.com: http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/sh...?t=6290&page=2

And it has some pics of the RLs in Wilmington! Sweet! I sent it to her, and she then sent this out to the people in her office:

Quote:
This picture was taken at the Delaware plant where GM makes the Sky and Solstice.
They have been rolling them off the assembly line (even though they claimed they haven't started production)! So picture the car in the front right in Yellow and you have the Sky redline.
Word has it that they will begin building orders in the next week.
This has been your Ia car update
(one of the pics from the skyroadster thread was attached here)

Somebody asked "what is the distinguishing feature that tells you it's a redline as opposed to a "regular" Sky?" So this was my wife's reply...absolutely cracked me up, so I had to share.
