SKY RL will be arriving soon!

I just realized I never posted anything about this over here!

Our SKY Redline order got allocated on 11/9. Target week for Production is 12/4 - 12/10. So, if it gets built by 12/10, moves through QC fairly quickly (which it seems most are by now) and gets a on a good moving train....might get it here by Christmas!

Yeah, they have a white Auto RL at our dealer right now. Those headlights look friggin sick. And there's a yellow base SKY at a different dealer, so we look at that base one, and try to imagine the RL headlights from the white one on it.

Car and Driver reported in their new edition when they tested a SKY RL that was automatic, that it had better 60ft times and 1/4 times than the Solstice GXP they tested in a 5 speed. Report 14 flat 1/4 and 5.2s 0-60 with an auto....

Sure, but when you autocross or road race I'd much rather do the thinking.

It seems pretty consistent that either the SKY RL or GXP with an Auto is getting faster 0-60, ETs, and 60' times. But it's like a difference of a couple tenths. A couple tenths, when we won't be taking this car to the strip anyways, is no where near enough difference for me to want to give up the fun of driving the manual instead.
