THE most important "mod" ANYONE could ever give to their car is the DRIVER mod. Skill/$$$ spent/attained at race school, will enable you to perform much better with WHATEVER you drive, when compared to the average street racer you'll come up against

You said it's a turbo, but it's a supercharger. Therefore people think you have insulted them. It's stupid really, but at this point it's like arguing about politics. No one will conceed.

He was talking about the SRL, therefore he was correct in saying turbo.

We are posting traps of our slower (in stock trim) ION redline which is supercharged.

This guy is just driving a chrysler, which isn't any better in my book.

But his went through their SRT division, and is fast. Big deal, these cars were designed at GMPD (GM performance division) so get over yourself.

This 'insult' is one of MY favorite things to say. When they say what's that SATURN run, I like to watch their mouths drop. Then I like to follow up with the whole, yeah but remember it's just a Saturn line.

Haha the infamous "its just a Saturn" line, thats only been around since 91, and I agree with NoRemorse it is rather ignorant to state something like that.

.93 out of a 300 of any trim is pretty respectable in my book as is 12.7 @ 110, but so are a lot of the guys on this site as well. An opinion is one thing, but to go and disprove facts that people are pointing out is bad form. We've for a while now put 300-500whp out with the older s-series builds and had them pull over 1.0 on a skidpad. Now with the Redline Ion there have been great bounds in a short time, and that's just the tip of the iceberg as far as I'm concerned, and the Redline Sky is even younger. I've been working on a base 04 Ion for a short while now, and have already shaved over 3 seconds off my ET and picked up around 20mph on a mainly stock build, is that impossible too? not at all, just like what these guys are achieving.

It's real easy to speculate when you're biased, but don't be completely closed minded. It is what it is whether you may be a fan or not, that goes for any car that performs better than someone's expectations.
