Just ordered a Sky Redline and want to Supercharge it

I just order my Sky Redline yesterday and have been following the new Eaton TVS Supercharger thread on here and am really liking the potential of this new Supercharger. What I was wondering is if I could take the Turbocharger off my Sky and install the TVS on there. If I could what parts would you expect I would have to take from your guy's Ion Redlines? I was thinking I would need the Intake and Exhaust Headers along with your hole lamina(sp?) cooling system. What are your guys thoughts on this conversion (and please don't be like the other forum I asked in and bash the shit out of me, I want to do something different with my car and this is all just an idea right now).

well. your turbo setup is good. i would actually leave it.

theoreticly you could have the tvs on the induction side and the stock twin scrolls on the exhaust side.

it would be a twin charged concept. i wouldnt alltogether ditch the turbos though.

i would go twin.

i know a stock lsj could bolt up a sky redline turbomanifold, so why couldnt you install a roots blower.

good luck getting the info you need, its not a dumb question, its been contemplated before.

good luck!!

honestly you should have gone the base model instead of the Redline if that was your plan, but contact DDMWorks. They are already offering a supercharger setup for the Solstice and Sky.

Where are you from?

What you should do if find someone local who looking to go turbo and swap out a bunch of the parts. That would make things a lot easier.

Don't listen to the haters.

definitely not hating that is for sure. Great to see someone giving a try at something new. Best of luck to him. That is why I mentioned DDMWorks. Since they are already working on that platform as well as the TVS setup on my car, they are a great company to talk to.

I was thinking about doing a twin charged setup but I don't think there is enough room in the engine bay to fit everything in there. I used to have an 04 Ion Redline that was in a accident so I have a full LSJ out of it to swap the parts I need. I was also thinking about the 2.4 but I really want to stay SIDI as when I was looking at the TVS everyone is making the 60#/LBs injectors but, from what I understand, the IDC on the the Stock LNF injectors is at only 25% so these stock injectors should be able to handle the TVS much better.

What issues would you guys think I would run into on the tunning? Since the LNF has the VVT in it which is setup to get the turbo running faster if should be just a matter of adjusting it for the Supercharger, which any good tuner should be able to do right?
