Question

I'm starting to get a wicked vibrationin the steering wheel. I havent run anything over and i know my balance and alignment or good just had it done. I dont think the rotots are warped. It feels like the steering column is whats shaking. What might that be? Has anyone had a problem with the column going bad or maybe motor mounts?

if it shakes under braking yes its warped rotor's. if it dosent idk.. checking your motor mount's wouldnt be a horrible idea.

its not just under braking, tho the brakes squeaking now.....saturn told it was because the pads are metallic........ it seems my drivers front rotor has a bit of scoring. We just went out and played with it a little bit in the parking lot and there is a click when i turn it side not real hard turns or anything, but there was definitely a small squeak then a slight click from the column. i'll check the mounts tomorrow after the sun comes up. Thanks Dub

That happened on my 2.4 Cobalt... it's a quick fix from the dealer.
