I'm thinking meet just solely b/c of the price of gas. Plus, you can't sit, talk and get to know someone as well on a cruise as you can at a meet. I'd really like to get this ball rolling. Let me know if you are SERIOUSLY interested in this.

the tail of the dragon is a great place to hang out. Couple of resturants up there. PLenty of good picture locations. Also plenty of other cars to watch.

If we plan a meet there, i'd definitely be serious.

I was actually going to post something up about Deal's Gap and wondering who would want to go next year. The STC guys just had a trip up there last weekend, fri-sun and got back on Monday. There wasn't a single RL that made the trip though, and only two ions all together. It'd be cool to get something together for next year and maybe show up the same time as those guys. They had 20 or so cars with maybe 40 people this year, and I think we could double that number with the amount of RL's within driving range. Shit, if we had people come from as far as they did, we could easily have 30 RLs there.

silver ion redline is the car i drive..i didnt "hang" with you guys...last year I was there at the gap having lunch when yall rolled through(bout 20 of ya). Dont remember who specifically ,but bunch of the club decided to do a burnout up the hill(most do so no worries). I finished lunch and did a run...and I will say near all I saw were lane crossing and acting like ding dongs. Not trying to bitch just telling what I saw. I wasnt there this year so I cant judge for the current group.

As someone who helps organize the club and was always with the group. I can assure you. No one did a "burnout" up the hill, and there was certainly no lane crossing going on. A few people might of slipped over a double yellow from time to time in the tight corners, but that happens.
