HP Tuners

Kind of a dumb question for you guys.

How does the OBD2 connection work on the program. Does the OBD2 cable run directly into a serial prot on the laptop, or does it run into a USB cable, or ideally is it a OB2 to USB cable?

ODBII to USB through a juncture box...cable between the box and computer (USB) can be disconnected.

The 'box' is the HP Tuners interface. The USB plugs into it, and the OBD cable goes from the box the the OBD port...

well as stated above, you can join SCRLA for the 130 ( not much more than the cost of the credits for your car) or you can go to the HPtuners website and get your plastic out and buy it. Other than that.....
