Dataloggers and OBDII Scanners

What do you guys use, and what are your experiences w/ the products you've purchased?

I'm probably going to end up buying both in the next couple of weeks. Ideally, a datalogger that can also make changes to the ECU would be great, but I'm not sure one exists yet.

In the OBDII scanner, I'm looking for one that'll reset codes. I can pull the battery, but that, in itself, creates a code and then State Emissions won't test your car. I think they all pretty much clear codes, but some seem to work better than others from what I've seen.

Neat. I didn't know the Interceptor logged. I'm assuming it's downloadable to a laptop and that's what Alpha just posted?

No, you have to transfer it by hand. I use Microsoft Excel, and just make a chart. That's what Alpha did as well.

I'm not sure what logs right now and dl's. I think you can get an AutoTap that will show most of the same parameters, but the Interceptor shows a couple that no other ones do, that I'm aware of. Like post blower intake temps, knock retard, etc... I think djt has something he uses....

The Interceptor is certainlly something I'm interested in, mainly for real-time info. So if/when you decide to sell yours, PM me.

For datalogging, I'd prefer something that goes straight into a PC. I already have a tablet PC I plan on using specifically for this project.

I keep hearing about it. Is there a certain release date yet? Considering I've been waiting for Starcraft 2 ever since 1996, I tend not to believe software exists until it's in my hand.
