anyone who has a USB interface (MPVI) is fine. We have two types of MPVI, the Standard (no analog inputs/outputs or datalogging buttons) and the Pro that has it all. Both support all the features listed above.

Basically anyone who purchased since December last year has the MPVI, not the older serial interface

so whats up with the credit thing? You can tune more than one car with these? I am kinda pissed that I just dumped 600 bucks on the GM tune now

Yes, you can tune as many cars as you have/buy credits for.

I didn't mind paying GM for the stage 1 kit. If I had known that they were coming out with this by the first week of May, I might have waited. I think it would have taken me quite a while to make my own tune to equal gm's stage tune though... I'll have this in a couple weeks though.

If I didn't live so far, I could license your car with to it. You can add 4 cars to start, or license a whole model/year + 1 car. Quick breakdown: comes with 8 credits. Each VIN cost 2 credits. You can register all 2005 Ion Redlines (single model/year) for 6 credits. I'm going to register all 2005 Redlines, with Rice and Mamma (I assume) and anyone else. I know yours is an 04, but I'd let ya pay for the two credits ($100) and tune all day with it, and any other time you were in the area. Which is the problem... you're a little too far away. They're close enough to drive over and use it any day they want to make some changes, and once the car is registered you can do whatever you want with it.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something about the credit system terribly...
