Arrow What's everyones goal?

My question is, whats everyones goal? Even with every possible bolt on, how much extra can be gained with the HP program? Is it possible to get a 7k rpm? 8k rpm? Is the sky really the limit now? It seems to good to be true!!!!!

I will be happy with 300 hp and about 270 tq.

You can go 7K on the tach. I think going higher than that would require some internal work. (springs?)

with every possible bolt on I think the RL can go about 280whp. Do you really think a refash can give you another 20whp???

What about changing cams, pistons, etc? How about some serious engine work?

My goal is to have a fun, fast ride. 300 ponies is a nice # but who wants to draw a line?

I think 300hp would be my goal as well - beyond that I would want something AWD or RWD. At 300hp (with our awesome torque curve) you're really blowing 99% of the regular streeters out of the water (where I live at least). I'm quite happy embarassing 95% of the people I race

I agree more then 300whp on a front wheel drive would be over kill I don’t know if you could even use more power then that, 200whp seems nuts already.

Noobs!

350-400 or a blown motor or two trying!

260whp now.

Header back exhaust (minimum gains, i would PRAY) 20 hp.
Tweak Stage 2 tune (maybe even a 'high octane' tune) 20 hp

Cams & 10:1 compression pistons, ported blower, ... 30? 40? I really dont know for sure... but you see where I'm going with this...

I don't think any of those are inflated estimates for possible power gains from this car. I could be wrong... I haven't even touched on a few things out there... so hitting 350whp should be pretty attainable for anyone that wants to spend. The only thing in that list that require SERIOUS work is the pistons. Leave those out, and you should still be able to get nearly the same with more timing or boost, or something...

Look at MT's car... 650whp no LSD... you're right, it is overkill, but that's ok at times! I've got a 'statement' to make!

Can we say cams, lower compression, ported blower, new head, springs, valves, a turbo, massive boost, head studs, new gaskets, better cooling, and a lighter car?

Yes...I am working on a suicide machine...

and yes..Sp00ner and Rice Eater will gladly help me.
