Exclamation Free tuning from Intense!!!!

Hey guys, as I already stated, I got my car tuned yesterday from Intense. Since they haven't been able to set themselves up as a supporting vendor, Scott asked me to post this thread over from the .net forums. He's looking for a few more Redlines...just let me or Scott know.

This is finally your time to shine for those with 04s with all the hell you have had with the PCM!!!

Free INTENSE LSJ PCM & Dyno Tune

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HP Tuners recently released their software for the LSJ engines, and this will be opening the floodgates for performance improvements in the cars with these powerplants.

After spending several hours on the dyno with one yesterday, we were amazed with how ‘touchy’ the tune is on these cars, and how much opportunity exists. But with literally hundreds of parameters to adjust, this is not a task to be taken lightly. And right now, there are many parameters in the code with incorrect or misleading nomenclature, and some of the scanning functions give inaccurate feedback. So it’s going to take a tremendous amount knowledge, ability, time and effort to get these tunes dialed in correctly.

In 2005, we dyno tuned 92 cars, and programmed many hundreds of mail order PCM’s. We plan to lead the way with LSJ tuning as well, and for this reason we’re now offering five free INTENSE LSJ PCM/Dyno Tuning Sessions. Ideally, we’d like to get one ‘guinea pig’ for each of the following vehicles:

2004 Ion Redline LSJ
2005 Ion Redline LSJ – Mike Vanderhorst
2006 Ion Redline LSJ
2005 Cobalt SS LSJ
2006 Cobalt SS LSJ

The ideal candidate will have the GM Stage 1, GM Stage 2 or INTENSE Stage 3 kit, have 42.5 pound/hour fuel injectors already installed and still be running the factory airbox. Exhaust and other mods are optional.

If you’re interested, please email me directly at ScottC@INTENSE-Racing.com with your name, the year, make and model of your car, your complete mod list, how close you are to Plain City, Ohio and when you’d be available for a few hours of tuning.

I found out Scott is looking for any 04 or 06 RL with the Stage 1 or 2 GM kit or the Intense Stage 3. Exhaust and mods like that are optional but they want you to have your stock air box on when you get there.

I would like to volunteer, but my 04 is stock other than the K&N.
I don't meet any of the specs they want.

I think Scott is looking to do them ASAP. Just email him and he will get back to you. At the latest tomorrow by noon. He has always been fast at responding. He'll more than likely be looking to even do it on the weekends.
