Warning on HP Tuners

First of all, this is the last thread I'll start about it, but I figured it deserved its own thread.

Not all cars will work with the HP Tuners software currently. When we hooked mine up the PCM wasn't able to be read. Fortunately, he had the one from a junk yard that did work. The BETA testing on this obviously wasn't all that great!

I spoke with Scott again, Rob Archer who has the sub 13 cobalt couldn't get his read today. Scott also mentioned he tried it on a 06 redline PCM he had and it didn't work either. I don't know if they will get it all corrected. Also, some of the verbage isn't correct. I forget what area it was but it said something where it was supposed to be the complete opposite.

I'm aware of Rob's issue, the calibration simply wasn't supported, it happens occasionally. All you have to do is email us the .hpt file and we add the support.

So did Rob send you BOTH *.hpt files then Chris? The 06 Cobalt AND the Redline?

Does this help provide PRE-support for all cars?

yes he did, they were the same OS (which is all we care about). Both are supported in the just released 2.1.11 beta (all new OS's go in here until the next general release 2.1.12).
