Scott, this short delay is just for the Redline correct??
As you may recall I have already ordered the INTENSE calibration for the 06 Cobalt SS equipped with the GM Stage 2 kit (3.0" pulley + 42.5lb injectors)
Very exited to see how much better my car will perform with an INTENSE tune geared towards POWER and not silly oem issues like emissions and NVH.
I was somewhat concerned when my mechanic/tuner friend advised me to purchase HP Tuner last week. But now I feel so much better that I can get a "dyno-proven" tune for less $$ than a 2 hr dyno session. LUV U GUYS!!

I'm supposed to go drag racing tonight! Hope that email gets here soon!!!

For 2006 Redline only, yes.

I can't tell what your name is from this message forum, but I did email someone a binary file for an '06 SS an hour or so ago.

Well maybe you should mention the BAD NEWS and that is you need to burn up 4 HP Tuner credits to use the INTENSE "Binary Only" option (basically costing you another $100) Now my cable is licenced to some unknown car.
Sure wish you would have been up-front with that - I had my 6 remaining credits reserved for 3 other people that helped pay for my HPT cable.

I was thinking that would be the case, since that's how HP tuners works. Could you have opened the file and simply copied the changes, or could you have registered all '06s or something? What 3 other cars do you need to tune? Don't suppose they're all the same year?

I dont know, we ended up having to use the "Write Entire" option and now my car has someone elses VIN in it. (and it required it to me licenced to MY cable)

However Scott at INTENSE finally got back to me today and as this was an unforeseen issue- they are refunding my $100 AND I get to keep my "Intense improved" Stage 2 tune. Unfortunately our drag racing was rained out on Friday night and Saturday so I dont know yet how much improvement I will have. But what I can tell you is the car feels much stronger at launch and through the mid-range.

THANKS TO SCOTT and TODD - INTENSE ROCKS!!

The new PCM image just needs to have the destination car's VIN applied (using the CHANGE VIN feature in HPT) PRIOR to backing it up. They must not have done that in your case and the "WRITE ENTIRE" would have neccessitated licencing for the donor car's VIN.
Simple oversight IMO.
Glad to hear they sorted it out for ya.
