HP Tuners and cooling fans...

Ok, I know we touched on this a while back (in theory), but now that it's out, do we have conclusive evidence that we can tell the ECU to turn the cooling fans on earlier (rather than waiting 'till 220-something degrees)?

I know I'm gonna get the software pkg, but I'm hesitant to drop the cash when I know I'm not ready to start tuning just yet, but if I can get these fans to go on sooner, it might be worth it just to get the software and reflash the ECU with that ONE simple change.

Along those lines, anyone know how easy/difficult it would be to get this done?
