What boost gauge? The max boost by the book for stage 2 is 14.5lbs.

Elevation and weather conditions cause variations...not to mention the type of boost gauge you use.

Doesn't the stock ECU flash bleed boost off at 13 lbs or something???

Mine shoots to 20. Under 3/4 throttle stays in the 10/12 range.

Lightbulb

That's weird. Mine stays at 12.5 PSI about midrange and above. 1000 foot altitude around here.

Stock ECM starts a bleed off at about 6K when you hit about 12.5 and then bleeds off about .5 or so before rev limit. The LSJ has so many avenues to bleed of boost that it is not funny. If the torque management can not hold the line by boost bleed then it has many other avenues for it to try.
