Ladder Booster

I think mine is out of calibration. I hit 1st hard and it seemed to work fine. I went into second at it went up 2 notches and the rev limiter hit. What's the best way to calibrate it?

Uhm, it tells you exactly how to caliberate it in this thread: and I think maybe in the manuel, or somewhere... but I believe if you just push the buttons a few timesi it will return to factory settings, and for every click of the knob, its 500 rmp, I believe.http://www.redlineforums.com/forums/...ghlight=ladder

If not there one of these: http://www.redlineforums.com/forums/...ghlight=ladder

Oh, and it's a tach, not a booster

Isn't each click a 100rpms, not 500? As when I changed my settings [3000 (gas mileage shift..plus I like seeing the light come on in everyday traffic), 5500, 6400ish] it seemed to only move 100rpms at a time.

And an easy way to calibrate it, find a long straightER stretch of highway and stay in 2nd for the top two lights and shift to 3rd/4th for the bottom one...use cruise control to keep it steady while you turn the knobs.

The book goes over it real well. I had no issues getting it set the way I wanted the first time. You'll be fine

So was it 500 or 1k? I need to re-adjust mine for stg II, but I have kinda gotten used to it at the stock setting, just wind it up on the red light for an extra 1/2 a second.

Lightbulb

It's 100 RPM per turn of a knob from the 2006 owner's manual.
