The dimmer switch works fine, now that I pulled everything off and cover the spliced area with electrical tape. Just gotta figure out if that dimmer switch is a good power/ground source, or if I soldered the in/out cables crossed.

Wires may be crossed. Kinda reminds me of pulling some keys off my lappie to clean them. I didn't realise there are 6 working parts in the larger keys. I thought I screwed the pony for sure but got it back together.

I soldered the wires back together, and got nothing...have yet to have a chance to double-check to make sure I soldered the right set of wires to the right cable - if I did, then I wasn't using a good power source, we'll see.

This is one of my first tasks to take on once I get to FL...

Also, you can buy just the controller w/o the O2 sensor 1/2 for $149.

Where did you go through the floor for it, or did you?

Yeah, that's my last resort...I probably should've just done that by now, and been done with it, but it took us a couple hours to figure out how/where to route everything and get it done right.

In the end, we ran it through the big grommet on the driver's side - that took a little "manipulating" and then went to mount the box as up and out of the way from the pedal movements as possible. Yes, the box is INSIDE the cabin, rather than outside - we thought that'd be better...

How did you extend the WBO2 harness from the LC-1 controller to the sensor? Innovate does not recommend that you do that as it will affect the sensor performance. If you need a longer cable, it's recommnded you extend the OTHER END of the LC-1 harness wires. Here's a few pics of my installation in an SS

Mine's totally portable so it's mounted to run into the passenger window- but you can just flip it 180 to go through that big grommet. I fashioned a small J-shaped shield to keep the heat from the header off the LC-1 unit.
I was originally planning to rivit it in place, but ended up just using wire ties instead

I didn't need to extend the sensor cable at all, I was actually surprised, but where we mounted the bung and the path we took to get it up to the grommet and through worked out to make it inside by about 6" or so - then just plugged the LC-1 controller up to it and called it a day (after I hacked the stereo lines of course).

My problem now though, is that I can't really mount the LC-1 controller anywhere - maybe lack of tools, I dunno, so I may just pop it back outside the grommet and mount somewhere close to there.

When the new Interceptor's get here, I'll look more closely - Spooner just helped me realize that I could use the analog inputs into the Interceptor's rather than trying to fix the stereo lines and using the XD-16 gauge...we'll see.

Yeah - the XD-16 and LC-1 combo...like $350 shipped or something, but I guess the guage is useless now - probably go up for sale as soon as I confirm everything's kosher with the Interceptors...
