Quick read on timing advance

I stumbled on this, and thought it would be a good read for people wanting to understand timing advance a little better. Not just what it does performance wise, butliterally what it does to the car to get more power.

(disreguard that it is about mazda's!)

One thing to add, don't know if it's covered in there, I read it kind fast. You're almost always knock limited with respect to timing on a boosted application. In otherwords, you will get knock long before you advance timing to the point where you're losing power.

Good point, the article is for NA, but I just thought it was a good read for even undersatnding the principles of it.

That's a good article for understanding tuning as it relates to RPM range. I think a lot of people get into "dyno mode" and only consider peak figures, not the whole graph.
