WB AFR Options

Figured it was about time for this...NR, please do the honors.

Innovate Motorsports
LC-1 ($199)
The LC-1 Lambda cable is a complete wideband controller built in to a sealed cable. It features the same award-winning patented digital measurement principal found in the LM-1, and includes digital input, output, and 2 user programmable analog outputs.

The LC-1 is more accurate than conventional designs costing many times as much, and its self-calibrating circuitry can compensate for changes in temperature, altitude and sensor condition. The LC-1 is ideal for applications such as Dynos, Data Acquisition, Standalone ECUs, piggyback fuel controllers, OBD-II software or chip programmers, and gauges. With the LC-1, you can add additional wideband channels to your LM-1, convert an existing narrow-band gauge, or add wideband capabilities to your dyno. You can even tune individual cylinders by using multiple LC-1 kits.

Optional XD-16 Guage ($229)

LM-1:Portable Digital AFR Meter($349)
The LM-1 is the industry's first and best complete wideband tuning system. A single self-contained unit combines a wideband air/fuel ratio sensor controller, a 6-channel data logger, and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display. This is the unit used by tuners, racers, and engine builders the world over.

Tuning an engine for maximum power previously required long trial-and-error sessions on a dynamometer. With the LM-1, precise AFR measurement allows the user to correctly adjust many variables- including carburetor jetting, fuel injection, turbo fuel curves, etc.- without long and expensive dyno sessions. The meter’s digital signal processing technology provides data on exactly how rich or lean an engine is running at any load. The LM-1’s self-calibrating circuitry also compensates for changes in temperature, altitude, and sensor condition.

AEM
Gauge-Type WB UEGO Controller ($349.41)
A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) during the tuning process to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM has combined its single-channel wideband UEGO controller and gauge display into one unit, uniting unsurpassed AFR accuracy and control with an easy-to-read interface. AEM’s Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller features a digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The unit’s 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing fits in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere.

PLX Devices
SensorModule-AFR ($195)
SM-AFR accurately measures the precise air/fuel ratio (AFR) of any internal combustion engine. Up to 32 SM-AFR modules can be daisy chained together in the iMFD system. SM-AFR can also be used as a stand alone unit capable of interfacing with 3rd party hardware. All Sensor Modules are housed in high quality extruded aluminum designed to operate even in the most extreme conditions. In addition, all SM modules offer outstanding digital accuracy, response and resolution which far exceeds that of a standard gauge.

Optional DM-5 Display Guage ($79)

SM-AFR + DM-5 Combo Kit ($269)

NGK
PowerDex AFX ($234.99 - Ballenger Motorsports)
NGK Spark Plugs (USA), Inc. is introducing its new Powerdex AFX Wideband Air-Fuel Ratio Monitor for the performance aftermarket. This product meets the increasing demand in the market for precision air-fuel ratio monitoring tools.

Traditionally these types of tools commanded price tags that could only be justified by professional race teams and engine specialists. As technology advanced, many low-cost air-fuel ratio products emerged. Some used actual wideband sensors while others simply read OE style narrowband oxygen sensor signals and attempted to convert them to linear readouts….often with marginal success.

The AFX Air-Fuel Ratio Monitor offers the most affordable wideband system to date. A flexible and rugged system complete with everything needed to get you tuning. The kit comes with a digital display control module, 13’ wiring harness, wideband air-fuel ratio sensor, exhaust boss and plug, and a comprehensive tuning manual. The tuning manual includes installation instructions and contains a detailed guide to performance air-fuel ratio tuning.

...I know there's got to be others out there, but these were the most common ones I could think of off the top of my head...

This would be awesome for those that have the upgraded HPT box for WB inputs. This offers one output...only upside of the LC-1 is that it has software for those of us w/o the HPT box for datalogging of the a/f.

Otherwise, these are awesome. You have way of monitoring it w/o having to buy an extra gauge like the INNOVATE (w/ the exception of INTERCEPTOR Gauges with the inputs). You can find these on eGay for about $229 or so each so. Defiinitely an awesome option for the $$$.

Vandy - is the 9-16 AFR a limiting factor? I mean, theoretically, NO ONE should be beyond 16, but...
