Question P0068 & P1182

anyone found any work-arounds for these 2 pesky codes??

I've searched all over but haven't found any definitive info, seems like a lot of speculation out there so far.

I can trigger the P1182 by hitting the gas hard from low rpms and hitting the boost

I can trigger the P0068 by going wot and getting above 6000rpm

Sounds like you might have a disconnected intake or vacuum line someplace... beyond that, you can turn off the codes in the PCM.

What do your fuel trims look like? Either the MAF or MAP is way off cal, you have an induction leak or the SCIP is bad.

yeah it's interesting and puzzling, the trims are really quite tight now, I've spent countless hours calibrating my ve and maf over the last umpteen weeks and now that the tables are seemingly in good shape I have started getting these codes (never had them when the trims were way out of whack - ironic)

the codes didn't start happening until I was almost finished with calibrating the maf in openloop, and they have carried over into closed loop, so appears to be a maf sensitivity I think.

the engine runs very well in sd ol mode, no codes get thrown, almost tempted to keep it there.

yeah I've read a number of threads where either one or the other or both codes had been disabled to 'solve' the problem.
Just wondering how safe that is and whether anyone has ever regretted shutting them off.
