Gear indicator.

has anyone though of making an indicator set up so we know which gear we're in? like the ralley driver have? think it would be cool, and helpful to those of us who drive 'spirited' through corners....

yeah i'd prefer seomthing i could mount on top of the steering wheel or dash so i can see it while driving.

I don't know how helpful it would be, I could see it getting use if we had a six speed.

I just generally know what gear I'm in.

I've made a few bad upshifts so far. I've been going 2 to 4 because shifting 5 times all the time is a bitch in traffic and a couple times I've gone 2 to 6.... Lugged it so bad was like almost idle.

well i have a problem with downshifts, here lately i've been attempting to hit 2nd on a downshift and hitting neutral instead. i think it would a cool little dohickey for the car..... anyone know anything else?
