Ok is it the only blue wire running off the cylinder where you insert your key?

Just making sure. I don't have a pod to put it in yet, but my wife doesn't remember if she ordered white or red gauge face and I would just like to see.

The instruction book says to use the red wire for the 12v. Also I think I am going to hook it up to a fuse. WHich fuse should I use?

I used the sunroof fuse, or the power outlet kinda right behind the metal brace that goes across the fuse box. Go to autozone and buy one of those add-a-circuits, there like 4 bucks, then butt connect the red wire from the gauge to the wire that comes off the add-a-circuit, then plug both fuses in, and connect the entire thing in the fuse slot that the original fuse was in. Congrats on the gauge!! CAll me if you need help.

I thought all the 'new' version ones just need the one wire going into the OBD port and they draw power from there? That's all mine needed and i've had it for like 1/2 a yr. Perhaps try that.

I ran my power cable to the fuse panel inside the car. I tapped it into one of the larger wires we tested that supplied 12v even when ignition was off until I open the door and cut the circuit. That was the only wire I ran being that the other 2 are for analog inputs.
