1 Go to your local auto store and buy an ADD A CIRCUT MINI ....it will allow you to tap into one of the fuses in your fuse panel.
2 Crimp the power wire to the add a circut
3 run the power wire to a switch , like the one here http://www.oznium.com/rocker-switch

4 Then run the power to your neons....
5 I used these for my neon setup http://www.oznium.com/cathode-kit

They are great and very bright

Sweet man, those are some pretty nice lookin switches... I mean as far as switches go... Have you done this to your car at all, because I am absolutely awful with wiring so I may need some pics of what you did.

i use my multimeter quite often in the car when wiring stuff up so i know wich wire is hot (has a current) to plug up the pos end to. pick one up if u dont have one. the switches that have an led built into them (a power light) are a little more technical to install than just a simple neon, but not too much. but its much easier to explain it in words,,,not typed like this...unless someone maybe has a basic wire diagram that shows what is what. but once u learn a few basics,,,ull be able to install neons, cd players, etc lol.

hmm...will those rocker switches fit in that little hole next to the dimmer switch? i dont have fog lights, so there is nothing in that hole. it looks like it would sit pretty flush.

Yes the switch would fit there perfectly ..... I used the
blank switch bay where the traction control would be ( its the little blue led in the picture )

lol ....some nights i just cant drive with my cold cathodes on ....they are just too bright, im going to use those toggle switches for everything so what i want will be on when i want it.....

If you need wiring help heres a good place to look around
http://www.oznium.com/forum/installation

But all i really did was run the power from the add a circut ( i used the radio fuse ) to the switch which was where the traction control switch would be......but then the rocker switch uses an led , so you have to ground it to the frame right above the fuse panel ( there are some bolts there ). Then i just wired the power from the switch to the music controller then hooked up everything and lastly ran the ground for the music controller ( Which also grounds me neons ) to the same place i grounded the switch led.

Im going to do a how to on this some time after i do my final install.

Im 17 so if i can do it then you will be fine...

Thats a good question. If it does fit nicely, I'm probably gonna end up mounting it on the fuckin "button" on the bezel that not a single ion seems to have a working button for... seriously is there anyone out there that bought there car stock with that button that actually does something?

Will a toggle switch be able to prevent it from still drawing power?

...and does anyone know where I can get a toggle switch that doesn't look like some stupid little metal nub sticking out next to the shifter? Like maybe an illuminated push button or an on/off switch???
Just as a suggestion, instead of having to deal with a switch and all that business, why not hook into the rear 12v adapter? That automatically turns off when you turn the key off, saving your battery, and involving far less work.

Whoa... . That fits so perfectly there. Did you even have to drill that hole a little bit bigger or did that just slip right in?

I currently have a blue biohazard LED air freshener in there from walmart in there. But you're right, if I get fed up with the whole wiring thing, I'll end up doing that. It's just gonna be a bitch hiding all the wires.
