Boost gauge routing from engine

I'm working to install my boost gauge, and I can easily see where to route the wires/hose from inside the car, but where is the easiest place to route from the engine bay to inside the firewall?

Pics are a must, as I'm bad at following vague descriptions. The how-to seems to be nuked.

My advice is to just route from inside the car into the engine bay. A lot easier IMO, because of the tight space behind the engine. Also I just poked a hole in one the gromments and ran the boost gauge tube through there. Why do you have to run from the engine bay to the cabin? Other than the other way around?

I just said it that way to emphasize what I meant (so people wouldn't try to explain how to route it inside the dash). I did plan on poking it out from inside, thanks for the tip.

There's only one grommet I can see, but I can't see where it would come out on the engine side. There's also a foam piece next to the pedals that a set of wires comes through, think that'd work?

Yea thats what i used the foam that has wires coming through. I took a long screwdriver and poked a hole through the foam til, it made a hole big enough for the tube to fit through. Once you push it through you will see it inside the engine bay no problem. Flash light comes in handy

Ya know, I tried the search function on that forum and nothing showed up. That's not the first time the how-to section's search hasn't worked. Thanks.
