That definitely sounds like the thermostat is stuck open. It's a $25 part at Autozone, or $45 for the OEM (AC Delco).

I'm going to try replacing mine tonight, so I'll let you know how it goes. Will be heading to Saturn for a re flash tomorrow too, just to be safe.

yeah i already picked it up last week, but due to the fiasco I had over the weekend installing the new, bigger turbo, it didn't get done lol

Probably 90% of the Ecotecs I see with this code need a thermostat...

Yeah, I'm going to be dropping it in today, hopefully. I just need to make sure I can get the cover off.

Unfortunately, the rich code is not associated as far as I can tell. We tracked it with HPT and appears to go a little rich when I let off the pedal at 2kish RPMs, which is enough to piss it off. D:
