Exclamation Installed A HID Conversion Kit

Well I just installed a hid conversion kit I bought on ebay for $235. After much antisipasion for it to come it finally came and i just put it on now there is nothing but probelms. After hooking everything up (simple plung n play) i turn on the headlights and there is not light coming from them leave them on for the 10 min burn in and still nothing turn them off and switch the left with the right and right with left turn on the lights still nothing leave it on for 10 mins still nothing. Does any one have any idea what the problem could be or is it just a shit kit. When i put the lights on the highbeam blue little icon comes on and with out anything connected nothing show up so it is getting power i suppose. Yeah im jus extremely mad now because i was lokking very forward to this. Please let me know of anything that could be the problem.

hmmm...may not be getting enough power or power to the lights may be jacked. check ur wires make sure there is no crimps, or exposed wire. make sure u have good contact. check ur grounds. if u have to get a digital multimeter and make sure ur getting power to the lights. other than that if thats all good the kit may be bad

Its complicated to get it to work right. Once WopOnTour jumps in here he will explain better. You need a relay setup on them to work correctly. Remember the 12v power is always supplied and its the ground thats turned on and off. Id reccomend check your wiring make sure you have the positive and negatives used correctly. Isolate out the highbeam and make sure its not a source for power or ground. You might be able to get away with just moving the pins around in the socket to get it to work. Good luck. to make sure they are working install them again and instead ground the setup on the body I bet 100 bucks they fire right up.
