thanks!
I actually used VHT brake caliper paint. i couldnt find a shade of blue hightemp i liked so i just used this instead.

of course
i didnt want to, but i re-used the gasket. normally you should NEVER re-use it, but the dealer wasnt open on sundays :\

also, if you do this and remove the cover, you have to disconnect the fuel line going to the fuel rail. so be prepared.
