Do any of you know if the front license plate cover is screwed on and a special triwing screw driver is needed to remove it or are those things rivets???

Mine was just 2 screws. I haven't seen anyone with anything different yet. Just now I have these 2 holes to fill.

sounds exactly like what i got on mine. i looked at it this past weekend to relocate it behind the center opening, but of course they are rivets. one way to do it is get a SLIGHTLY larger drill bit and drill it out til it comes free. However if you are going to relocate like i was, behind the center opening is really not a good spot. you'd be blocking too much air flow and your temps would probably shoot up.

Screw the cops, I can't stand them as is. I'll move the plate to the inside of my dash. If they want to be bogarts about not being on the bumper inside the winshield should get me off the hook

I think Saturn is stupid for putting the plate holder on the car. None of the Ion's have it in commericals/ads obviously for looks. I wonder if they attache it depending on each state's law or if every car gets it slapped on there. It would be nice if it was in the trunk and left up to the customer....
