Online Eyelids vs. Custom Eyelids

I am going crazy trying to decide if I should buy these when they go on sale at Importtrends.com or have a buddy of mine help me and create a custom set. I am debating on whether or not I like the fact that there are two curves in them surrounding the headlight and and turn signals.

I usually can not stand eyelids on cars, but those don't look 1/2 bad. I think it is bc the balt's lights are HUGE, so they don't look all squinty with the lids

NOOOOOOOO! those look like sh-t! I think I may have a pic of the 'Balt I saw at the GMTunertour...It was yellow, and the eyelids were straight to match the contour of the botom part of the HL, it looked waaaaaay better than that example you have.

Yeah, I'm kinda at the point. I don't hate them enough to make custom ones, but still unsure. The reason behind me wanting them is because I really feel that it will change the look of my front end. Right now my car looks "innocent and playful" in the words of alpha. I don't want that. You've seen how much better SRT-4s look with eyelids. It changes the whole appearence.

Please please please find that pic for me. I wanted them straight, but no company will respond to my emails regarding production of straight eyelids for my balt. I just don't know

the only way I can explain it is to give an example of another car's hl's. The eyelids from the 'Balt at the tunertour, made the hl's look like the hl's on a '98 toyota camry. I wish I had photoChop on this computer....godamn work POS's they DONT EVEN HAVE SOLITARE!

I'll try and photshop up a pair of lids and you can tell me if I'm heading in the right direction.

NIIIICE!...just take the same eyelids that are pictured...and take out the round cutouts...try to get the line to match the bottom contour...oh and make the inside part of the eyelid line up with the hood line.

The more I look at those eyelids, the more I think of a Dodge truck, or the 300C...
