Why is it so damn hard to find wheels?!?!?

I want to buy some new shoes today, but I can't find anywhere that will put the tires I have on the rims that I want. I want the MSR 190's in the super finish. But every place I have called refuses to put my tires on them. They want me to buy tires from them. What can I do? Anybody know of anywhere that will do that?

Damn...you don't know anyone at like a Tire Discounters or anything? The reason most won't is because they can't warranty the work.

That doesn't make any sense...I had my slicks mounted on my own wheels without any trouble - why won't they sell you wheels and mount the tires you have on them?????

A lot of places won't do it b/c it's so easy to scratch the rim and the shop's making almost no money on the work. Too much risk.

Around here, they charge 20+ per tire to mount low profiles.

Never mind, I found a place that can order the wheels that I want for me.

Check 'em out. Bought some new shoes. . .

Tkae them to the south dealership on OBT. they will completely mount them for you. That is where I got mine done. Ask for David in the service department.
