Question Does anyone have a Dead Pedal?

I was wondering if there are any Ions out there with a dead pedal installed; Having one might decrease any tendency to ride the clutch . I've thought about a couple of options, but haven't done anything yet. I would prefer not to do anything that is irrevocable , but I think that bolting and sealing would probably be the best way to go.

Anyways, obviously not a big deal; just curious to see if and what other people may have tried. Thanks and Best Regards!

I'm sure we could put one in, there's a descent space for it next to the clutch, not sure if it would clear when the clutch is depressed fully. You could basically stick a block of wood under the carpet up there and there ya go...

I agree, I thought about it but the carpet issue was why I left it alone. I even bought crappy mats from Wal-Mart to put in there for the winter.

Also, has anyone put custom pedals on their Redline? I looked and found some good looking MOMO ones for about $50 but you have to drill into the stock pedals. If anyone has done it please post up some pictures.

Nothing, that is why it is a dead pedal. It gives your left foot a place to be. Honda's tend to have them. It is nice, you don't wear down your carpet and tend not to leave it on the clutch (some people do)...

What I like, is it's a great place to support yourself when under hard turning or braking...

Yeah, I just can't seem to find a comfortable place for my left foot while cruising down the interstate. We need something. The Cobalt has one.
