powdercoating my wheels black

If you peps out here don't mind give me your opinions for a choice in this matter. See my wheels are pitting slightly and my dealer won't waranty them and this pisses me off because I only have 16,000 miles on my girl. So descided to get them powdercoated by a local shop They quoted me 85.00 if I leave the outter lip and 80.00 if I do the entire wheel. I don't think that eighther is a bad price I'm just tossed up on the lip decision. My rl is silver. Please give me your opinions please.

$80 total for all 4 wheels!!! That's a deal.

It's up to you. A lot of people will argue to just get new wheels if you're paying that much. If you like the comp wheels then get it done.

edit: My vote would be to leave the lip as well.

Yeah I like the comp. wheels and II think I'm def.going with the lip but the price is 85.00 per wheel. I wish it war only a total of 80.00 that would be great.

I know he meant $80 a wheel. I'm not as stupid as I look Matt.

You're wheels look great all black, but with the comp wheel I think it would look better with the polished lip. That's what I plan to do one of these days. Too many things to do, not enough money/time.

I was just fucking with you Jay!! I was the pothead, so if anything I'm stupider....sorry more stupid...see what I mean.

Polished lip is ok, but in my opinion they actually make the rim look smaller than it actually is. For some strange reason 17" with a polished lip look small, more like a 16" or even 15" sometimes depending on the make and model of the wheel.

I was going to get my wheels powder coated and I was quoted at $110 per wheel. Hell for that price I can get new rims. www.wheelsnext.com has some nice rims for cheap. I had some on my mustang. They come mounted and balanced, free shipping, and free lowering springs, plus discount for military. zx
