New Racing Stripes on the RL. Silver w/ Black

So I got bored the other night and decided to paint racing stripes on my car. I used Duplicolors Bug Shield Temporary Bra paint. So it will wash right off.

I think it looks pretty good but if I were really going to get it done I would go wider with the stripes.

Here are some bad pics with my camera phone.

"wider is better". I'm personally a big fan of racing stripes. If you blacked out your car (taillights, headlights, wheels, tint) it would look so sick with black stripes like that.

This is not your mom's OEM

Definatly!

I probably wont do it any time soon. But its fun to get a good idea of what it would look like. Plus it only took me and my brother about 2 hours to tape everything off. Time well spent.

tint the stripes right down the back window. it's a nice effect only a silver car with dark gray/black stripes can pull off.

Q: What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
A: First, you screw. Then, you bolt.

Interesting idea to see what they would really look like on your car. I don't think the front stripes should go all the way down the front bumper though....start them on the hood or something...I'm a big fan of Scott's stripes on his car.

If I did ever do them....I'd do the same style as his:

Thanks!! I like being a bit unique! I thought these stripes would be popular on our cars but I haven't seen anyone else with the same kit. 50 bought the kit in silver but never put it on, for anyone looking for a deal in silver. Dan, I think it would blend into your car a bit too much
