if anyone is interested

next project for my ion... I'm fabbing up a rear disc conversion for my car.. I'm using the saturn s series rotors,calipers and brake cables. I purchashed the rotors a couple days ago and recieved them today.

Huh. Interesting idea, I wouldn't've thought to use S-Series bits. Iwas gonna turn you on to a place that would sell you Redline wheel hubs, rotors, and calipers for all 4 corners cheap. Not sure if your axles would work in the RL front hubs though. :shrug:

yeah it needs springs.. not worried about it now. it doesn't sit up much higher than a stock redline i've parked em side by side.

Well I got some calipers from an S series car but it looks like I'm not gonna be able to use them. I'm gonna be going with redline calipers now instead. My father in law works for a machining shop so he's gonna make me a similar bracket that looks like the redline bracket (so it'll look stock) and my dad is gonna weld them on.

ur next project should be finishing up with the side skirts and rear bumper. dont leave the front rl bumper hanging w/ the qc rear and no skirts

yeah I'm still waiting for the stuff to get painted. the warehouse keeps sending the wrong bumper to my body shop guy. he is gonna paint the sideskirts and bumper at the same time.. should have em on the car this week hopefully.

Lookin' good bro. Yeah, some progress springs would drop that down a bit and would look great. As far as your sideskirts and such-I still think it looks great.

*UPDATE*

My bumper and sideskirts are painted and should be ready tommorow (according to the bodyshop) I've only been wating like ahh 2 months. I also got my brackets made for my rear disk conversion
