Got my new grill

Well I finally went down to get my grill. A little disappointed in it, but it'll work for now...well until I think of a way to cut out the black pieces and mount the side ones.

drill out the holes around the edge then use a razor blade to cut them out

And here is how they are mounted if any of you are wondering (the side ones are just screwed into the plastic)

Ya but the grill is screwed into the plastic so I have to come up with a clamp type thing to hold it there. Eventually it'll be done, probably not till next summer though (heck in winter I want those to be closed off). And yea, it is a little thick (I am assuming you mean how few holes there are). I don't mind the look and since I don't drag my car or go out driving for the sole purpose of racing, I don't need super loads of air coming in, just enough to keep the engine happy.

I might see what a new one costs from the dealer just for winter...

I was actually thinking of just zip tieing peices of cardboard around the grill to block air, but that is a better idea as it help keep the original look of the grill longer. Anyone know the price of one?

if you did cut the black peices out then you just hot glue them to the black plastic frame peice and it holds it great. thats what i did and its damn strong. but i see what your talking about with all the snow and crap.

Not only the snow, but the damn cold air. I mean, I have no idea if my car will enjoy being blasted with -40C air all day long and 50ish at night. I may fab up some cross braces just to hold them in place and jbweld them in place.
