I talked to a racer buddy tonight at a party, the guy that does Genassi(sp) CF work is a friend of his, so I am going to take a picture of the rally hood and my car over and see what he can do. If he can build IRL cars I am sure he can make me my damn hood He might want to do a few and sell them, If he does I will post it here.

Guys I am a member of another domestic board as well (DomesticTuners.com) and as a member, you get access to special discounted prices from JSP America. Check out the thread http://domestictuners.com/phpBB2/vie...f740b356936d0a for a list of hoods and trunks for sale in carbon fibre. They have Saturn IONs listed there for both the hood and trunk. They are OEM style, but GOOD prices. Worth a look. The admin of the site is "thecoma" AKA Colin, and he knows the JSP America guys personally. He bought a CF hood from them for his sunfire, and he says that it's of top notch quality as well. Even if you guys don't want the OEM style hood, maybe someone can inquire about the rally style instead. It's worth a look, but remember to join up and you'll get access to the discounted prices for being a member of the board.

Is the redline hood the same as the regular ion quad coupe? I think the trunk is the same.

I think the overall design is the same, but I believe there is a problem with the latch lining up. Not sure.
