you will prob have to crack the case open and reglue it when putting it back together but thats just my own thoughts, never done it myself and never plan to paint the inside b/c it can cause the headlight to be less reflective inside there and ruin your visablity at night.

well i dont plan on painting any of the actual light reflecting parts, just the out side bezeling etc. the inside of teh reflectors will be taped off with masking tape and news paper. i'll have to ask my friend how we go about doing it because i know he is planning on doing it to his SS

the plastic is super thin. It will warp/bubble. I almost did it myself for a projector setup.

I did this to my last car which had projectors and I didn't have to bake anything, just peeled the sealant off and then resealed it with the same stuff....i cant remember what it was called cuz it was my friends but it looked like a tube of bathroom caulking.

Whatever you do, do NOT put VHT on the headlights lens.

*shrugs*, i'm not putting vht on the front lenses, only the tails, and those wont be too dark, just enough to give the black effect, now i just gotta figureout how to get the lenses off...... w/o baking
