Silverstar Turn Signals

Got some Silverstar turn signal lights today and they're awesome. What a difference! I've attached some before and after pics. Please excuse the bad quality of the pics, I have a really cheap digital camera. Highest res is 640*480

This kind of seems silly to me to 'upgrade' turn signal bulbs...what kind of a difference do they make?? They do their purpose as is to flash and let people know which direction you're turning (most of the time). You don't need them to light a path for you...

Yeah huh!!!!! And the bulbs run cooler since there's more light energy released through the glass, thus less heat absorbed by the cable, in turn less absorbed by the connectors, the ground, the chassis, the straps, the block, the head, the intake manifold/intercooler, supercharger, then the intake, reducing your intake temps. Good for about 5 whp. Don't question it!

They are a lot brighter when flashing than the regular ones that come in our cars. And when you look at the lights head on (unlit) it's not orange inside anymore. It's a mix of colors...blue, purple, pink, turquoise, and amber. They're really cool.

Depending on the car, it makes a big difference too. I put those in mine, and the difference was minor. The orange didn't clash with the red that much anyway. On the blue and black ones, it really makes a noticeable difference.
