Powdercoating would last the longest and be more resistant I think.

My dealership lists the grill for 136.79 I carry them online for 109.44 they come with all the required mounting hardware and it's an easy install

another thread back from the dead...is this the standard black, plastic piece (with the opening in the center and waffle on each side)? Or mesh insert for the center/sides?

Not to be a buzzkill but i heard saturn engineers pulled the mesh before shipping the 04s because the restrictred airflow. Any notice anything different?

Of course it's going to restrict airflow...you're probably cutting down the area where air CAN flow down by at least 25% (with the material). Makes sense that they may have had it on at one time though, b/c the posts area already there and everything...

That is what I was told when I bought my '04. I put a grill in (it isn't very fine mesh) and haven't had a problem.
