Thinking of buying Vue RL.

Ok my srt-4 got totalled a few months ago and i have been looking at the vue rl's. I found a used 04 with 34,000 miles on it. Has anyone had any problems with theirs and how is the gas mileage on these things. Thanks

Gas milage is decent (19-20 in town/25-28ish on the highway) if you are looking at buying one for performance... scratch that idea, the Vue's tranny cant handle much more power than stock.
if you are looking for appearance value nad a strong runner for a stock SUV, go for it, i would reccomend just getting the FWD version tho, the AWD in these things is fucking worthless, it only engages when needed and it takes a lot to "need" it i purposely floored mine over a long patch of ice one day just to see how well the AWD worked... it took a good 5-6 seconds to engage.
the AWD is heavier, therefore it is a tad bit slower than the FWD, and it uses more gas due to the extra xxx.LBS for that AWD drivetrain.
Even tho there isnt much avftermarket (if any) for it and the modding capabilities are limited, its a strong runner stock, i think C&D tested it at a 15.7-15.5 (or somthin like that). Mine will literaly break traction with a hard stomp from a stop ... The Vue RL is slower than the non RL AWD/FWD V6 due to some extra weight, even tho... i think they are waaaaay sexier. theres quite a few of them in my town , i like the 06's better tho, i cant stand those little sliver headlights, it looks more like a cheap SUV that kia/Hyundai, ect would make.

Other than that issue, the car is great, i love my Vue for long road trips, mountain cruises, ect.
