Good luck with that. I have been searching for the factory sub cover in light grey for an eternity. Just do what I am going to do, pull up the spare tire cover, pull out that foam shit, build a box that will house a shallow mount 8 or 10" sub out of MDF. Stealth box FTW. I have heard the factory sub, souns like shit anyways. Only thing I havent tried is asking the dealer how much new ones cost, but we all know the answer to that.

yea, i can get a new setup from dealer....thinking was in the 130 range for some reason. at least that is what it shows for the "woofer" anyway on trademotion...but i haven't confirmed if that is just the speaker or speaker with enclosure. this is my wifes new ride....so the excellence of sound isn't real critical.

I can almost guarantee thats just the woofer. I remember I had to buy a speaker plate for my TA back in 92, and it was 70 just for that part. If you find out though, let me know. I still think just taking some mdf, build a box and mount it flush behind the spare tire is the best way to go. Check our saturnfans.com, you will get more Vue answers there, and there are some pictures of what I am talking about.

i am tempted just to build a small enclosure in the factory location even.....do some fiberglass work to gain as much space as possible. Being her "soccer mom" vehicle....cargo space is at premium....i will look at some pics to see what your talking about though.
thanks

exactly. Thats why putting it under the cargo floor, infront of where the spart tire is now, is prefect. I planned on building one for there, but hey if you want to do it, make two and send me one....
