Thumbs up drove an 06 redline VUE

so i got to PDI a brand new Redline VUE last night and i hav to say i was impressed.... now the motor was still the 3.5 V6 HOnda motor with no blower or extra power... the tranny tho was disapointing tho being that this model was only FWD and not AWD like i would of wanted for this car... the VUE only have front wheel disc brakes and drums in the back which i thought was stupid as well seeing that it's a sporty type vehicle and should have 4 wheel disc brakes.. but those are all options you can change..

the interior was for the most part the same with a few small exceptions...

1. new gauge cluster.. looked very nice and very sporty.. only goes to 130 but i actually like it better then ours

2. the seats were not recaro but they where leather with seuade inserts.. as well as have some very nice bolstered sides which gave a nice hugging feeling

3.. the model i drove had heated seats and the heat has 2 modes of heat... warm and hot... anyway my point being that when you turn on one of the heat levels it turns on accent lights under the seat you turn the heat on for... the lights shot out either a orange or a blue depending on the level of heat you use and it is aimed out towards your feet... it is a very nice touch..

4.. their is more black plastic then on normal VUE's as the center cup holder and crap holder as i like to call it is completely black and not grey...

5.. the sound system is nice and this model had the advanced audio package with the included 10" woofer in the back... for an SUV it sounded very nice

lastely is the drive.. well it wasn't bad at all.. the ride quality was awsome and the power was great coming from the engine... if i needed to get an SUV this would be the one... and the model i drove had a price tag of 25,480 which for an 06 VUE Redline aint bad

i give this vue a 5 out of 5
