got a Vue 3.5 AWD Saturday

I love this thing, not the redline but hey...

the redline was $2,800 more and i would have had to have waited another week to get it, my fiancee wanted a car now so i had no choice, seeing that the redline has the same engine as the one she was looking at i decided to go ahead and do it.

its pretty quick, for an suv anyway.
i was readin up on car and driver and they tested it at 0-60 in 7.0 seconds and nailed a 15.5 1/4 mile time, im looking into supercharging options right now

It's an 06, i dont think i will be taking it offroad, im more of a pavement pounder lol.

Congrats on the new VUE! We tested a new 06 V6 and I really liked it alot. The performance is really good and the interior improvements are awesome.

As a matter of fact my friends and I were looking at how dang fast that suv type is. It really is 0-60 in 7 and 1/4 in 15.5 without any mods or anything. Our Redlines are 6.2 0-60 and 1/4 in 15.0 so I mean not a whole lot of difference. If you were to twin turbo it or super charge it... I know you could beat us. I am happy you guys have got yourself a very nice veh. Take care and stay warm this season!

congats, My ex-girlfriend had an AWD Vue, those are really nice. Pretty quick too. So you could almost say it was the opposite of my-ex.

The Only Prob W\ The 3.5 Is That It's A Honda Motor..but It Does Haul Ass

that "honda" motor is the best motor we use... everyone with a 2000 to a 2003 v6 vue got shafted hard core... the 3.5 is by far better and a lot quicker... the 06 vue is the best vue we have ever made.. it's got a lot of sound deadening to it and it's quite... not sure if you can S/C or turbo the thing tho since the engine bay is kinda craped with the V6 in their but with 255 hp as is i don't think you really need to be adding much more... and don't feel to bad about not getting the redline.. it's nice to and the seats in them are awsome.. especially with the nice seat warmers... plus the 06 redline ones have a subwoofer in the back.. all in all tho the regular 06 one is just as good.. if it makes you feel better 1 tire for the vue redlines is $320 yes thats right 1 tire is 320

we have a a 04 awd redline and like it alot. the only problem I have with it is the speed limiter is at 95-98 mph.

i have an 05 FWD Vue RL, and love it...i have never hit the limiter yet...and was goin 110-120 MPH....yes the tires are expensive, i had to replace one 4 days after i bought mine...$425 cnd for just the tire, the dealer felt bad and installed for free. i had an 8 foot ladder in there just yesterday...and have hauled 16 sheets of drywall, washer, dryer, dishwasher, engine hoist.....best car i have ever owned!
