Watch out for this guy. He called me and gave me a sob story about how he got ripped off online for a car. I felt bad for the guy and told him I would send him the Transmission if he pays the shipping up front and he could pay me for the transmission when he installed it, since he was afraid that it might not work. I asked him several times what year car he had and he even said he went to the dealer and checked his VIN # and My transmission S/N and they told him its a match. I had a 2004 Transmission and he had a 2005 Ion. I was skeptical but I knew some early model 2005's didnt have LSD so it was possible that he could use my transmission. I warned him about this several times and he said he wants the transmission anyway. Paid me $150 shipping on PayPal and I sent him the Transmission. Took him 3 weeks to start installing it...the whole time I am still without money for the Transmission. Guess what he finds out? The transmission is not for his 2005 Ion. I spoke to him on the phone and he said he wants to try to remove the bell housing from his old transmission and put it on this one, so as to be able to mount the speed sensor there and use the 2004 Transmission. After that he refuses to answer texts or pick up the phone. I am guessing the Transmission is either trashed or he just doesnt want to pay for HIS mistake. Once again I got fucked for trying to help someone with a sob story out. Be forewarned this guy is not an honest person. Wish I remembered his forum name too.
