How To: Tibbett/Photo Antenna Mod w/Pictures

This is by far the best visual mod for FREE!

The stock antenna is in a weird location and there's no replacement antennas available that look halfway decent, but with this mod you can keep your stock antenna and get great reception still but it just won't be seen at all.

Edited....it's a 7/8" nylon hole plug.....NOT a 3/4"

it took me awhile to find that little damn plug when i did mine.. cuz its not in packaging its just as is in the pic thrown in the little drawers by the nutz and bolts as you said.. took the clerk like a half hour to find it and i even had the part number..pissed me off.. lol

That part number that was listed (#2703) was wrong because after I found the nylon plugs, that number wasn't listed at all on the boxes

But like I said it's in the drawer labeled "Nylon Hole Plugs"--which was at the end of all the boxes/drawers at my local ACE hardware
