Fuel Filter Change (With Pictures)

How to change the LSJ Fuel Filter


Parts Needed:

- New Fuel Filter (AC Delco Part Number GF824)

- 3/8" Fuel Line Quick Disconnect Tool

ok thanks

just curious - do you know the location of fuel filter


when i had my breaks done they said they could not find a fuel filter out side so they say it is in the fuel tank?

I really dislike shops that do that sort of thing with straight up LYING about something they can easily make money on.

Its under the rear of the car after the fuel tank towards passenger side wheel.

Also its in the write up #1 on the list.

"1. First off, if you don't know where the fuel filter is....it's the small round canister under the rear suspension of the car towards the passenger rear wheel:"

Unfortunately we live these days where the shops have to get the cars out and in the make the next sale.

My fuel filter would cost them (the shop) money to replace it and I am the one paying.

Just a little tired of having an older car now and seems like everythings breaking little by little.



I still love this car though
