I couldn't find a how to on changing brake pads and rotors so I thought I would throw a quick write-up together as I just did mine!

This is a really simple job that I would recommend to even the least experienced do-it-yourselfer!

Step 1: Loosen lug nuts
Step 2: Jack up the car (just one wheel at a time, no need for a hoist)
Step 3: Support car with jack stand
Step 4: Remove lug nuts completely
Step 5: Remove wheel and set underneath car
Step 6: Remove caliper guide pin bolts (2 of them) and set caliper aside
Step 7: Remove caliper mounting bracket bolts (2 of them) and set bracket aside
Step 8: Remove old rotor from hub
Step 9: Remove old pads from caliper
Step 10: Remove old pad retaining clips from caliper
Step 11: Compress the caliper piston:
For rear calipers, use needle nose pliers to twist the piston clockwise while pushing in.
For the front calipers, use a large C-clamp to compress the piston. Set an old pad in between the clamp and piston to avoid damaging the piston
Step 12: Install new pad retaining clips
Step 13: Install new pads
Step 14: install new rotor
Step 15: Re-install the mounting bracket (finger tighten the bolts)
Step 16: Re-install the caliper (finger tighten the bolts)
Step 17: Ensure everything is where it is supposed to be and looks good
Step 18: Tighten down the bracket bolts and then the caliper bolts
Step 19: Re-mount the wheel and hand tighten the lug nuts
Step 20: Set vehicle back on the ground and torque down the lug nuts

Drive for 200-300 miles braking lightly and avoiding any hard braking

Here is a video of the brakes being changed. I apologize for the bad quality/videography, I am no hollywood producer!
